Eight (8) cookies



These cookies are usually eaten on Tishrei holidays and especially on Simchat Torah, but of course you can eat them on other holidays as well. It will also be amaizing for "Mishloach Manot" for Purim.

Originally the cookies are deep fried, but of course you can bake them in the oven for the healthier version and it's not less delicious!


Ingridiants:

1 1/2 cups of flour (300 g)

3/4 cups of sugar (150 g)

1/2 cup ground coconut or coconut flour

2 M size eggs

7-8 cardamom pods

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

sunflower oil for deep frying


preparation:

  1. If using ground coconut, grind again in a coffee grinder until a puree texture

  2. Remove the cardamom seeds from the pods and grind finely in a coffee grinder

  3. Put all the ingredients in a mixer and mix until getting a soft texture dough

  4. Note that the recipe does not contain liquids, if the dough is too hard you can add a small amount of water.

  5. Take a small amount of the dough (2X2 cm) and roll it into a 15 cm long roll

  6. make the shape of the number 8

  7. Hit oil in a pot

  8. Deep fry until golden

  9. Cool well and keep in an airtight container for up to a week

  10. You can also bake in a 180 degree turbo oven for about 15 minutes until golden
