Passover dossa is one of the best!
A favorite dish that we all looke forward to it, and is eaten with any dish that has a lot of sauce or filled with potatoes for a nostalgic masala dosa. It's really easy to make and there's no way you will not succeed in making it!
I recommend to prepare a large amount because usually, for every dosa that is being prepared in the pan, there is someone standing in line next to you to eat it while it is hot and fresh.
Ingridients:
1/2 cup ground rice
1/3 cup of oil
3 eggs
1/2 cup potato flour
1 cup ground coconut
1/2 cup matzah flour
1 Teaspoon of salt
2 cups of water
Preparation method :
Mix well all the ingredients in a large bowl
Add water until you get a thick pancake-like paste
Heat a teflon pan on a medium flame and oil a little only for the first time
Pour one ladle into the center of the pan and gently flatten into a circle with a diameter of 15-20 cm
As soon as the dosa is baked on top, flip and fry for another 2 minutes.
Note!
1. The frying of the Passover dossa takes longer than usual because of the rich ingredients
2. From time to time the liquids are absorbed by the ingredients, so the batter thickens a little bit, in order to resolve it, you can just add a little more water and mix again
Tip: If you have leftovers from the mixture, you can keep it in a closed container for the next day, and make new fresh dossa.
